Hill Trolls [Rock Trolls, Common Trolls]
The most common and varied of the trolls, known for their tremendous appetites, rending attacks and fast regeneration.

Mountain Trolls [Giant Trolls]
Said to have had giant ancestors, mountain trolls are expert rock throwers and cliff jumpers. Stronger than their hill trolls cousins, they often use clubs or other simple blunt weapons in combat.
Racial Traits: A mountain troll chooses 1 trait from the following as their racial trait - Better Throw Rocks, Cleave, Cliff Jumper, Fearsome Roar.
Swamp Trolls [Scrags, River Trolls, Bridge Trolls, Sea Trolls]
At home above or below the water, swamp trolls are cunning and sneaky. They often have poisonous bites and a noxious stench strong enough to knock out a man.
Racial Traits: A swamp troll chooses 2 traits from the following as their racial traits - Camouflage, Blessed of Kur'ko, Sneaky, Stench, Sticky Claws, Venomous Bite.
Desert Trolls [Demon Trolls, Spirit Trolls, Mad Trolls]
Thin and lithe compared to the other trolls, desert trolls are rumoured to have the blood of demons inside them. They have an innate resistance to fire, usually the best weapon against trollkind.
Racial Traits: A desert troll chooses 2 traits from the following as their racial traits - Blessed of Mo'ah, Fast Reflexes, Glowing Claws, Mad, Resist Magic, Strange.
2-Headed Trolls [Chaos Trolls]
With two heads and just one body, 2-headed trolls spend much of their time arguing throughout the day, one head against the other.
Racial Traits: A 2-headed troll chooses 2 traits from the following as their racial traits - Big Name, Cliff Jumper, Paranoid, Spawn of Zubb-Zubb, Springy Legs, Throw Rocks.
Note: A 2-headed troll in Troll: the Rending requires two players to play it, one for each head. As it is the troll for two players, it is more powerful than the other trolls.
